IEDC organises competition to select projects for funding
Vidya’s IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneur Development Cell) organised a Project Competition on 25 October 2018 to select the best projects by first year students for offering funds ranging Rs.2000-Rs.5000. Overall, 40 students of IEDC participated in the event. The following projects were presented in the competition:
- Kirihou Brick
- Smart Waste Bin
- Urban Farming
- Hydroponics
- P-Eradicator
- Semi-automatic Cleaning Robot
- Multi Drone
- Blind Helper
The following projects were selected for funding:
- Semiautomatic Cleaning Robot: A project for automating the clean the floor using sponge and vaccum cleaner
- P-Eradicator: A project to removes waste using the line following algorithm.
- Multi Drone: A device that can be used for indoor and outdoor programmes .The drone is interlinked with LED and music via Bluetooth.
- Kirihou Brick: A project based on building materials like brick from plastic wastes
