NSS’s Green Carpet Programme at Parannur Chira

As part of the Green Carpet Project initiated by the Government of Kerala, the NSS volunteers of Vidya conducted a cleaning program at Parannur Chira, a water body formed by a small dam in the Kechery River, on 20 January 2019. A group of five NSS volunteers participated in the programme. Volunteers  cleaned  the surroundings of the Chira by removing plastic wastes found in the area.
