ME faculty member starts “Tree Challenge” as part of teaching sustainable engineering
Mr Arun K L (AP, ME Dept) started a “Tree Challenge” for protecting the nature and for improving the biodiversity in nature as part of teaching a course on Sustainable Engineering in the third semester of the B Tech programme of KTU. Mr Arun started the challenge motivated by the biodiversity project implemented by the Education Minister Prof C Raveendranath in his Assembly Constituency Pudukad. Many students of Vidya and other colleges participated in the challenge.
Mr Arun started the challenge by distributing different plants to the Honourable Education Minister Prof C Raveendranath at his office at Puthukkad. Students and others can participate in the challenge by distributing at least five different plants to the others.
