Engineering aspirants in EEE attend second  phase of ‘ROOTS’ interview

Vidya proud alumni always engage to promote activities leading to excellence in academics and act as an inspiring tools for their enlightenment to outer world . Vidya is privileged with our proud alumni who look back with fondness on their alma mater. ‘ROOTS’ – a comprehensive scholarship scheme, instituted by the Alumni of the EEE Dept of Vidya  to nurture gifted and  deserving students for a great future reveals a sense of trust  and the college experience meant to them by willingness to give back .

The second  phase interview for ROOTS scholarship was held on 31 August 2022. The interviews were scheduled from 9.15 am to 4.30 pm. The first phase interview had  completed  on 10 August 2022. The results for the same will be announced. The interview was conducted in blended mode. The result will be declared on 05 September 2022

The interview panel consisted of  Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean –  Academics) , Dr Mary P Varghese (HoD, EEE Dept), Mr Praveesh V V (Asst Prof, EEE Dept), Er Ajin Aravind (2003 – 07 Batch,),  Er Aravind T (2004 – 08 Batch) and Er Shimjithlal (2004 – 08 Batch). Er Saranya (2003 – 07 Batch), Er Jijisha (2006 – 10 Batch) and Er John Bennis (2005 – 09 Batch) attended through online. Ms Akhila R (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) co-ordinated both the interview sessions.

The attendees were extremely appreciative of the initiative and were anticipating the character, academic, professional, career support and mentorship. They were impressed about the alumni coming back to help with projects every semester and improvement classes in the anvil.
