EEE students’ ‘Electric Go-kart’ wins third prize
The electrical students of Vidya released a new dimension in ‘Go Kart Racing’ with low cost electric go kart technology for the racing arena which has got many prizes from different competitions.
Electric Go-karts are a type of racing car that runs with the help of an electric motor without any emissions. They also introduced solar charging as an additional charging feature for the vehicle.
The students Akshay V S, Brindha Shaju, Sanju Paulson, and Jithu John K participated in a Project Expo PRISMA’23 [INNOVISION in association with IEDC CCE] conducted at Christ Engineering College as a part of the Association Day of the Electronics Department. They secured third prize with a cash prize. About 27 teams from different colleges participated in the event. Evaluation parameters were novelty, innovation, and relevance; end-to-end functionalities or completion of the work; social impact; and technical content.
