CE Dept conducts Dept Alumni Interaction Series ‘Let’s Connect’
Vidya is fortunate that, every Vidya alumnus deems in inspiring their juniors and providing guidelines for improved prospects.
An alumni interaction session with Mr Hrethwik V V (2018-22 Batch, CE Dept) was arranged for final year students on 30 November 2023. Mr Hrethwik is currently working as Site Engineer, M/s Novocrete (Pvt Ltd.) Thrissur.
He was welcomed and introduced by Dr Abhilasha P S (Professor & HoD, CE Dept )Hrethwik shared insights into his involvement in a project focused on incorporating plastic waste in pavement construction, conducted in the region of Orissa. The discussion extended to his contributions in the realm of soil stabilization. Encouraging students, he emphasized the need to approach their final year project with dedication, selecting a topic that is relevant for a comprehensive learning experience. Furthermore, he stressed the significance of publishing journal papers related to the project work as a crucial aspect of academic and research involvement.
Ms Vandana V (Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Ms Chithra M (Asst Prof, CE Dept) led the program as co-ordinators.
