CSE Faculty member and students present paper at the National Conference on Research in Emerging Areas (NACORE 24)

Several special achievements of the students in the CSE Department have brought laurels to Vidya .Such activities indeed fetch a sense of pride and appreciation to CSE Dept .

It is with much delight and pride, the Dept of CSE is sharing the news that, Nevin Nelson (S8, CSE Dept), Sudhama Swaminathan R (S8, CSE Dept), Vishnukant P K (S8, CSE Dept), and Vishnu Sudheer (S8, CSE Dept) presented a paper titled “Automated Voice-Controlled PowerPoint Presentation Generation System from Voice/Text Prompts”during the National Conference on Research in Emerging Areas (NACORE 24) held at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering Kanjirappally during 22- 24 April 2024. Under the guidance of Ms Remya K R (Asst Prof, CSE Dept), and with active participation from the group members, they presented different methodologies for voice controlled PowerPoint presentation. Also discussed a wide range of approaches and techniques employed in automated powerpoint presentation generation and controlling it using voice. The advantages and limitations of each technique is also summarized. Also emphasized the importance introducing manual efforts, and improving powerpoint generation efficiency.

It also reinforces the students’ confidence in their abilities and motivates them to continue striving for excellence.
