VSEC conducts personal interactive session with the winners of Vidya Science Talent Test Ed.3

Vidya under the auspices of  VSEC (Vidya Social Empowerment Center), an initiative of Vidya International Charitable Trust gives insights into the young minds  that help them to perform to their maximum ability, and ensure that they are motivated and working towards a common set of goals – whether in a face-to-face, physical or hybrid environment.

VSEC  conducted a personal interactive  session with the winners of Vidya Science Talent Test Ed.3” on  05 December 2024.  The toppers  were identified  from the online exam Vidya Science Talent Test (VSST) from eight standard hailing from Thrissur district.

The Interview began at 10 am that nurtured with personalized attention on their personality development, academics, ambitions and hobbies. Suggestions were given to  improve their performance in school and build their analytical and reasoning skills to succeed and for the betterment of society.The students, with their active participation gave  accurate insights into how each candidate behaves, communicates and what motivates them in the school and society .

Later,an interactive  session was also made with their  parents/ guardians that provided the interview panel members’ insight on a student’s strengths, their communication style, what motivates them, and how they react to risk and conflict. They were informed about the scholarship amount of Rs 5000/- for five consecutive years upto twelfth standard and the terms and guidelines were clearly commincated .

The Interview panel consisted of Dr Siju K (Head of VSEC, Asso Prof, AS Dept), VSEC Committee members Ms Salkala  K S, (Scholarship  Co-ordinator, Asst Prof, MCA), Ms Roshni Vijay (Asst  Prof, CE Dept), and Ms Surabhi M S (Assistant Librarian).They were supported by the VSEC student volunteers Gopika T M  (S4, MCA), Evilin Rose Paul (S4, MCA), Jackson Joju (S4, MCA) and
Akshay (S4, MCA).

Adv P N Unnirajan IPS (Retd.) (VSEC Director & Director-Administration, VICT) motivated students with his enlightening words. He also  interacted with parents/guardians.
