The festive spirit of Christmas enveloped the entire Vidya as staff members joined together to commemorate this joyous occasion ‘Twinkle & Mingle 2024’’ on 20 December 2024 .The ‘Christmassy’ backdrop and the Christmas crib – transformed Vidya into a festive arena.
Christmas cheer organized by Vidya staff Club started with a with an emotional prayer by Ms Gloria Anto (Asst Prof, CE Dept). Ms Jemy Jose Kakkassery (Secretary, Staff Club, Asst Prof, ECE Dept) delivered welcome address. Dr Sunitha C (Principal) emphasized the importance of the spirit of sharing, caring and unity during the festive season.Mr Suresh Lal (Executive Director) in his wishes shared the boundless joy of celebrating this festival. The event truly captured the magic of Christmas, leaving everyone with fond memories and festive spirit. The official ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms Anupama (Joint Secretary, Staff Club, Asst Prof, CSE Dept) appreciating everyone’s efforts in making the celebration a grand success.

In keeping with the festive spirit, cake cutting ceremony was also held as a mark of beginning the Christmas celebration ‘Twinkle & Mingle’ .
Different branches including that of CE, CSE, EEE and ECE enthralled the audience with a vibrant and energetic dance performance, showcasing the joy of the holiday season.The pinnacle of talent was a visual treat to watch.

| Dr S Swapna Kumar (HoD, ECE Dept), Ms Sumitha V S (Trade Instructor, MCA) and Ms Vijayalekshmy T K ( Hostel Matron) immersed themselves in the moment with melodious songs savoring this season’s magic that guaranteed to fill heart with Christmas joy.The listeners treasured the bond with lively celebration that voiced and writing competence with a Malayalam poem written and recited by Mr K Vijayanarayanan (Library Attendant) that further enhanced the festive spirit. Ms Akhila R (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) and Arun P R (Trade Instructor, EEE Dept) charmed the audience with their impeccable performance with a duet song. Ms Surabhi . M . S (Asst. Librarian) embrace the spirit of celebration with the role as Master of the Ceremony. |

Jingle Bells – Carol singing competition : To welcome the spirit of Christmas among the gathering, Carol singing competition was held and team from the branches CE, CSE, EEE, ECE, Administration, and VICT contributed their best singing talents to the festive atmosphere . The judging panels Dr Reji C Joy(HOD, MCA), Mr Manesh D (Asst Prof, MCA) and Ms Aswathy Alathu Karunakaran (Asst Prof, AS Dept) played vital role as in announcing the ‘Jingle Bells’ winning team with accent quality, harmony, mastery of synchronization.
