NSS Units organize Blood Donation Camp in Association with Rudhirasena and Govt. Medical College,Thrissur

The National Service Scheme (NSS) units 101, 200, 662, and 663 of Vidya highlight the commitment towards social welfare and community service.

The NSS units in collaboration with Rudhirasena and the Government Medical College Thrissur, successfully organized a blood donation camp on 18 December 2024. The camp, which was met with great enthusiasm and support, saw the participation of both students and staff members who came forward to donate blood voluntarily.

The camp was held on campus and saw a commendable response, with 101 individuals, including students and faculty, voluntarily donating blood. The donors adhered to all guidelines provided, ensuring a smooth and efficient process throughout the day.

The program was meticulously coordinated by NSS Volunteer Secretaries Aswathy E S (S6, CSE Dept), Mrithyunjay R (S6, EEE Dept), Nistal K Paul (S6, ME Dept), Devika Mothilal (S6, ECE Dept), Obadh Jose (S6, ME Dept), Ardra Shanmughan (S6, EEE Dept), Aruna R Menon (S6, CSE Dept  and Adarsh N A (S6, ME Dept) along with Rudhirasena coordinators Aswin P Prakash (S6, CSE Dept), AljinJoby (S6, CSE Dept), Harisankar T S(S6, EEE Dept) and Naveen P A (S6, CSE Dept) under the able guidance of faculty coordinators: Mr Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer and Asso Prof, EEE Dept), Mr Ranjith E R (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, ME Dept), Ms Delmy David V (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, CSE Dept) and Ms Anu Maria Antony (NSS Program Officer and Asst Prof, CE Dept)

The collective efforts of the coordinators ensured the event’s success, and the blood donation camp concluded without any delays or disruptions. The NSS units of VAST extend their heartfelt gratitude to all donors, Rudhirasena, Govt Medical College thrissur, and the volunteers for their invaluable contributions to this noble cause.
