AIML faculty member showcases newest quality of information with an insightful  technical session  

Vidya  faculty members effectively raise responsiveness about digital challenges with actionable knowledge equipped with new quality of information.

As part of National Consumer Day, a seminar titled ‘Spreading of False Information, Privacy Violations, and Discrimination in AI Platforms’ was held at Costford Auditorium, Ayyanthole, Thrissur on 24 December 2024 under the auspices of Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission. The event was inaugurated by Mr P Balachandran (Hon’ble MLA of Kerala, Thrissur  Constituency)M r Arjun Pandian IAS (District Collector, Thrissur), Mr C V Pappachan (Former Indian Football Team Captain) and Ms Rosy M L (Deputy Mayor,Thrissur Corporation) graced the occasion with their presence.  

In the technical session, presented by Mr Nisanth P (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) provided examples and feedback-driven discussions addressed issues like AI-driven misinformation, privacy risks, and discrimination. The audience, including lawyers and the general public, appreciated the practical insights.The general session,led by Dr.Aneesh V

Pillai (CUSAT) focused on legal protections for consumers in the digital age.With this the possibilities are unbounded. All we need to do is to appreciate and encourage the young minds as most achievers are people who have made a strong and deep dedication to pursue a particular goal.
