A moment to cherish the contributions, passion, and commitment of a person that has left an indelible mark on all of Vidya staff members . Vidya Staff Club hosted a reflective farewell to Dr. Bhavin K. Bharath (Asso Prof, ME Dept) on 20 December 2024 who inspired to all the members associated with him in countless ways with his hard work, teamwork moreover simply the joy he brought into our lives.
Ms Surabhi M S (Asst. Librarian) in her opening remarks acknowledged and honored the contributions and milestones reached by Dr. Bhavin and as a whole team such as a resource person for workshops , seminars and co-ordinator of several esteemed events like Graduation Ceremony, Scholarship Function, DB Day, VIBE activities and Brahmasmrithi. She also remembered his significant technical contributions with the role as Handling Editor for SAE International Technical Papers (Indexed in Scopus, Engineering Village (Ei Compendex), CNKI, IET Inspect, and Japan Science and Technology (JST) Agency).
Ms Jemy Jose Kakkassery (Staff Club Secretary and Asst Prof, ECE Dept) delivered welcome address with a note about Dr. Bhavin’s ability to create a positive atmosphere for everyone to come together. Dr Sunitha C (Principal) in her speech touched upon his contributions for an exchange of knowledge and experience, which enhanced the programme in a harmonizing way. Dr Jeeva K A (Professor & HoD, AIML Dept, Co-ordinator of NAAC) recollected Dr. Bhavin’s impeccable contributions that helped a lot during the process of NAAC and NBA and shared the quality of his character who is always optimistic and were always there during difficult times. Dr Rakesh Hari (HoD, ME Dept), Dr Sooraj K Prabha (Professor, ME Dept) and all the staff members who spoke on the occasion shared their fond memories with Dr Bhavin and his exemplary skills to tackle the functioning to the best of his abilities and with limited resources and strengthen bonds. All expressed their gratitude and appreciation for his contributions .
The Principal handed over a memento to Dr Bhavin that further hold a personal touch with a symbol of appreciation and an inspiration to pursue new challenges with self-reliance.
Dr. Bhavin shared emotional moments with touching memories to express his gratitude and appreciation for giving this opportunity to be a part of Vidya team with various activities . He reminisced his journey, filled with learning, challenges, enriching experience and, friendships that cherishes forever with all the staff members of Vidya .
The event marked a blend of celebration enhancing Dr. Bhavin feels appreciated and motivated for the futur challenges with confidence
