MCA hosts Industry-Interaction Session
Vidya Computer Applications Association (ViCA) organized an impactful Industry- Interaction Session on 10 January 2025, aimed at equipping MCA students with valuable insights into the professional world. The session featured Mr.Nelson Francis (Lead Software Engineer based in the United States) who delivered a thought-provoking talk titled “How to Prepare for Industry.” Mr Nelson is also an alumni of MCA 2006-09 batch.
Drawing from his extensive experience, Mr Nelson emphasized the importance of staying updated with emerging technologies to excel in today’s competitive job market.The event commenced with a warm welcome by Ms. Salkala K S (Asst. Prof, MCA) who also served as the event co-ordinator. Following the session. Neha (S4, MCA) delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Mr.Nelson Francis for his valuable guidance.This initiative underscores ViCA’s commitment to fostering the holistic development of MCA students by providing them with opportunities to enhance their learning, grow professionally, and build meaningful industry connections.
