Graduation Ceremony 2025 sets in motion with a prestigious Press Meet

Graduation Day represents the pinnacle of students’ academic journey, a celebration of years marked by dedication, perseverance, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. To herald the upcoming Graduation Day on 28 June 2025, a Press Meet was organized on 25 June 2024 at the Press Club, Erumappetty.

The session commenced with opening remarks by Ms Surabhi M S (Asst Librarian), who emphasized the value of the occasion and warmly welcomed representatives from various print and electronic media.

Dr Rakesh Hari (HoD, ME Dept) (Programme Convener & HoD, ME Dept), who led the session, offered insights into the highlights of the upcoming Graduation Ceremony. He shared that the Graduation Ceremony would be honoured by the presence of Dr. Vinu Thomas (Dean (Academic),APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Government of Kerala) serving as the Chief Guest. Dr. Rakesh also proudly highlighted the placement achievements of more than 420 students in the past academic year and the recognition of students who will be awarded minor degrees and university honours.

The Press Meet witnessed the presence of key faculty members including  Dr Rakesh Hari (Programme Convener & HoD, ME Dept), Dr. Sajay K R (Programme Convener & HoD I/c, CSE Dept), Mr Anilkumar K R (Asso Prof, ME Dept) and Mr Sivadasan E T (Asso Prof, CSE  Dept).

The session served as a platform to highlight Vidya’s academic vision and celebrate the accomplishments of the 2021–25 B.Tech, 2023–25 M.Tech, and 2023–25 MCA batches.

The session wrapped up with a cordial invitation for all media attendees to join the Graduation Ceremony slated for 28 June 2025.
