EEE Dept signs MoU with Savix IT Solutions
In a strategic move to bridge the gap between academia and industry, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Savix IT Solutions, Thrissur.
The MoU, signed on 30 July 2025, marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at fostering knowledge sharing, hands-on training, and internship opportunities for students in the field of Information Technology.
As part of the agreement:
- Savix IT Solutions will offer technical assistance, access to real-world data, and certification for student interns from the EEE Department.
- Joint initiatives such as internship programs, technical workshops, and skill enhancement training will be undertaken.
- Both institutions will nominate coordinators to facilitate the smooth and effective implementation of collaborative activities.
This collaboration is designed to strengthen students’ practical IT competencies and contribute to their professional readiness, while Savix will benefit from innovative academic research and talent exchange with the institution.
The MoU reflects VAST’s ongoing commitment to building strong industry linkages that enrich academic delivery and foster career-oriented learning pathways for students.
