The Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) launched the Young Innovators Programme (YIP) to encourage and nurture the next generation of innovators. The program focuses on promoting creative problem-solving and strategic thinking among young people. It’s designed to help them develop innovative products, services, or solutions that address societal and market needs. The Editorial Team of News & Events is thrilled to announce the outstanding performance of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology in the Young Innovators Programme (YIP),an initiative by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC).Vidya has been recognized as a top performer in the Young Innovators Programme (YIP) 7.0.The institution was ranked first in Thrissur district and second across Kerala based on the number of projects that received funding. 31 ideators from the institution were chosen as YIP 7.0 District Level Winners, with a total of Rs 2,25,000 in funding. This achievement is specifically based on the number of projects that successfully received funding, which indicates the practical and commercial viability of the ideas developed by the students.The achievement reflects the strong culture of innovation, mentorship, and project-based learning nurtured at Vidya Academy.
