| To acquaint parents and students with the academic requirements, institutional policies, and the need for parental support in monitoring student development, the Induction Training Programme 2025 was held on 11 August 2025. |
| The occasion was honoured by the gracious presence of the distinguished guest, along with members of the management,parents, faculty, and students. Proceedings began with an invocation by Ms Yamini Vijayan (S5,CE Dept), which set a dignified and auspicious tone for the event. The ceremony then proceeded with a graceful welcome dance performance by talented performers, serving as a visual treat to mark the auspicious start of the event.Dr. Nisha A. B. (HoD,Applied Sciences Dept) extended a warm welcome to the gathering and introduced the guest to the audience. Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) delivered the presidential address. In her address, she emphasized the need for discipline and overall growth and also took the opportunity to motivate and guide the students as they embark on their journey at Vidya. |
| The inaugural ceremony served as a great delight, with alumnus Er Arun Vincent (Deputy District Coordinator for Thrissur, Kerala Solid Waste Management Project (KSWMP) inaugurating the function by lighting the lamp. Students’ representatives also joined the lamp lighting ceremony.Er Arun then addressed the gathering with a profound honor, sharing his nostalgic feelings and pride in being back. He motivated the students to be the dreamers shaping their future, reminding them of the responsibility and incredible influence they hold. A memento was presented to Er Arun by Dr. Sunitha as a gesture of joy and love. |
| Following the inauguration, Principal initiated the oath-taking ceremony, which was attended by all newly admitted students. |
| Felicitations were then presented by Mr. Suresh Lal (Executive Director,VICT),Dr. Shalij P. R. (Director – Academics, VICT), Ms. Pulari Rajeev (PTA Vice-President) and Mr. Paul J. Chackola (Head, Training & Placement). Dr. Abhilasha P. S (HoD, CE Dept) proposed vote of thanks. |
| An expert talk was delivered by Dr. Smitha Das (Principal, Sreepathy Institute of Advanced Studies) . Her talk inspired students with an enrichment of creativity, the importance of setting ambitious targets, and the development of a positive mindset to succeed, which includes resilience, seeking support, and maintaining a growth mindset. |
