Vidya NSS Energy Cell Coordinators participate in Power Up’25

To empower NSS Energy Cell leaders through focused sessions on sustainable energy practices and leadership development, the NSS unit coordinators of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Thrissur, actively participated in the Energy Cell Flagship Program Power Up’25, held on 12–13 July 2025 at the College of Engineering, Trikaripur.

The Energy Cell unit coordinators—Alanteena C A (S5, EEE Dept), Arjun C N (S5, EEE Dept), Bhadra (S5, ECE Dept), Ajay M S (S5, ECE Dept), Adith (S5, ECE Dept), Devika (S5, ECE Dept), Anamika Sebastian (S5, ECE Dept) and Godwin C Baiju (S5, ME Dept)—represented Vidya at the camp.

The camp featured a diverse set of activities, including keynote talks, technical discussions on energy efficiency in buildings, and the introduction of the Carbon Neutral Home Project. Participants also engaged in an idea-pitching workshop, a site visit to the 12 MWp Solar PV Plant at Ettukudukka by CIAL, and various team-building sessions.

These experiences enriched the coordinators’ knowledge of sustainable energy and inspired them to take forward the mission of energy conservation and climate responsibility in their respective units. The camp concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, recognizing the active participation of all unit coordinators.
