ME faculty members participate in FDP on Electric and Hybrid Vehicles
Vidya faculty members enhance their knowledge and technical competence in emerging electric and hybrid vehicle technologies through structured coursework and expert-led sessions
Dr. Sooraj K Prabha (Prof, ME Dept)and Mr Sarath Babu Ramachandran (Asst. Prof – Seln. Grade, ME Dept) actively participated in an Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Electric and Hybrid Vehicles for Sustainable Mobility: Innovations, Challenges, and Future Directions” organized by the College of Engineering Muttathara, Thiruvananthapuram.
The six-day programme was conducted from 15 to 20 December 2025 by the Centre for Sustainable Mobility (CSM) under the Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with the Skill and Knowledge Development Centre (SKDC) and the Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission (KKEM).
The FDP focused on emerging technologies, research challenges, and future directions in electric and hybrid vehicle systems. The sessions provided valuable insights into sustainable mobility solutions, advanced vehicle technologies and innovative approaches supporting environmentally responsible transportation initiatives.
