The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an Alumni Webtalk titled “Navigating the Future: From Campus to Career Success” on 06 February 2026.
The session was delivered by Ms. Jeeva C. S (Data Quality Analyst,HP, 2021–2025 batch,CSE Dept).The objective of the webtalk was to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, while providing students with practical insights into career planning and professional growth.
During the session, the speaker shared her inspiring journey from campus to industry, emphasizing the importance of strong technical skills, effective communication, adaptability, and continuous learning. She discussed current industry trends, real-world challenges faced by fresh graduates, and effective strategies for placement preparation and professional development. The talk also highlighted the significance of internships, projects, and professional certifications in building a strong career profile.
The session was interactive, with students actively participating and clarifying their doubts related to skill development, job roles, interview preparation, and workplace culture in the industry. The talk was highly informative and motivating, offering valuable guidance to students aspiring to build successful careers in the field of computer science.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to Ms. Jeeva for her time, knowledge sharing and continued support to the department. The program was a great success and received positive feedback from the participants.
