| Vidya consistently undertakes initiatives to provide a platform for first-year students to exhibit their technical intellect and creativity, thereby highlighting their innovation, dedication and ability to transform ideas into practical outcomes. |
| In alignment with this mission, V-THINC (Vidya’s Talking, Hearing & Integrating Knowledge Club), in association with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) VAST Chapter, ISTE Chapter, Institution of Engineers (IE, India), and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), organized a platform on 27 February 2026 for first-year students to showcase their innovative projects, apply technical knowledge, and gain practical experience in their respective fields. |
| The exhibition highlighted innovative projects by first-year MCA and B.Tech students, providing them with a basic understanding of mini projects and motivating them to solve practical problems. It also fostered teamwork and a practical approach, helping students apply academic knowledge to real-life situations. |
| The exhibition witnessed the participation of 58 teams, comprising 236 students. The Principal,Heads of Departments, teaching and non-teaching staff, visited the event and engaged with the students. |
| A panel of judges including Dr. Jeeva (HoD, AIML Dept), Ms. Akhila R (Asst. Prof – Sr. Grade, EEE Dept),Mr. Liju Augustin (Asst Prof, Applied Sciences and Humanities Dept) and Ms. Manjusha P D (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) evaluated the projects. The top three projects were selected based on creativity, communication, problem-solving skills, and teamwork, and were honored with cash prizes. The winners were honored with prizes by Dr. Sunitha C (Principal). |
