An Ayurveda Medical Camp was organized by NSS units at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology on 20th August 2016. The presidential address was delivered by Dr.Sudha Balagopalan, Principal, Vidya Academy of Science and  Technology.Dr. Shabna Krishnan, Medical officer Velur Grama Panchayat inaugurated the camp by delivering a thoughtful speech. The lighting of the lamp was done by Dr. Pradeep Kumar(MS Ayurveda, Assistant professor,   Ahallia Ayurveda medical college, Palakkad) and Mr. Jayakrishnan.C.J (Marketing manager, SNA oushadashala) 

As part of International Day against Drug abuse, NSS units of VAST conducted an awareness programme on  “Dangers of Drug Abuse & How to Overcome it ” at 02.00 pm on 24-06-2016 at College Auditorium followed       with a  street  Play by NSS volunteers.  Mr.Aravind, NSS Program Officer,  welcomed  the  gathering.
