MCA faculty member presents talks in ICFOSS workshop at MES College, Marampilly

MCA Dept faculty member Mr Sajay K R (Asso. Prof.) delivered two talks in an ICFOSS sponsored workshop organised by MES Advanced Institute of Management and Technology, Marampilly, Kochi, on 22 June 2018. In the talk delivered in the forenoon session, he explained the germination, growth and spread of the idea of free software and in the talk delivered in the afternoon he gave a quick and fast introduction to operating systems in general with focus on the Linux-GNU operating system.

ICFOSS (International Centre for Free and Open Source Software) is an autonomous institution under Govt of Kerala mandated with the objective of coordinating the FOSS initiatives in Kerala as well as linking up with similar initiatives in other parts of the world.
