PE Dept organises pre-workshop demo on ANSYS 16

The PE Dept of the College organised a pre-workshop demo on ANSYS 16 and CFD for the students of S7 B Tech (ME and PE)  on 07 November 2018 in Main Seminar Hall. Nearly 100 students participated in the session. Two research scholars from NIT, Calicut, presented the objectives and contents of the workshop planned to be conducted this month end. Prof K Dileep (Head, PE Dept) felicitated the programme and also highlighted the importance of analysis software such as Ansys for the design and research areas of Mechanical and Production engineering.

ANSYS is an engineering simulation software used to design products and semiconductors, as well as to create simulations that test a product’s durability, temperature distribution, fluid movements, and electromagnetic properties.It is extensively used in computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
