CSE faculty members and students attend workshop on AI and ML at FISAT

Dr Ramani Bai V (Prof and Head, CSE Dept) and Mr. Ravishankar (AP- CSE) along with 11 students from S6 BTech CSE, attended a workshop organised by ASAP Advanced Skill Development Center on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, at Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly, Eranakulam, on Saturday 19 January 2019. VAST is one among the 19 centers, where ASAP has started Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning course. As many as 12 students from S6 BTech CSE have enrolled for the course. The programme was organised with the objective of giving an overview of the concepts, current developments and future of AI and machine learning for all the enrolled students and trainers in AI/ML course.

Dr Balaji Srinivasan, Professor from IIT Madras was the resource person for the workshop. He talked about the scope of AI/ML course and the demand for AI-skilled man power in the industry. The session was very interactive and he cleared the doubts of students and faculty members.
