In Vidya, 90+ % of students earn MCA degree in three years!

After the publication of the results of all the University Examinations conducted in the academic year 2018-19, the MCA Dept scrutinised the results and was pleasantly surprised to note that 93.8% of all students who had been admitted to the MCA course in Vidya in 2016 and who had completed all the six semesters of the course during 2016 – 19 had become eligible to receive the MCA degree. Altogether 65 students had completed all the six semesters and 61 students had earned the MCA degree. In simpler terms, this means that 93.8% of students admitted in 2016 have earned the MCA degree within three years which is the stipulated duration of the course. The MCA batch admitted in the year 2016 was the first MCA batch in Vidya affiliated to APJAKTU.

The MCA batch admitted in 2015 was the last MCA batch in Vidya affiliated to Calicut University. This batch completed all the six semesters during 2015 – 18 and passed out in 2018. 96.6% of students admitted to this batch had earned the MCA degree within three years which was also the stipulated duration of the course under Calicut University.

In the MCA batch admitted in the year 2014 and passed out in 2017, 93.9% of students had earned the MCA degree within three years.
