Faculty participation in skill upgradation programmes

Mr Aadars M S (AP, ME Dept) participated in a Six-day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Nanomaterial Synthesis, Process, Characterization and its Functional Applications” organized by the Department of Automobile Engineering, Hindustan College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore during 6 – 11 July 2020.

Ms Chithira Ajeeth, Ms Chithra M, Ms Ponsy Paul, Ms Roshni Vijay and Ms Ardra P Nair attended a webinar on “IT’S applications under Homogeneous and Mixed Traffic Conditions” organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Jyothi Engineering College in association with ISTE on 6 August 2020.

Ms Ponsy Paul and Ms Nirmala Krishnan had attended webinar on “Traffic Management through Calming” organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Jyothi Engineering College in association with the Institution of Engineers on 10 August 2020.

Dr Ramani Bai V (Prof and Head, CSE Dept) attended the following programmes:
- A six-day national level online workshop on “Programming Essentials for Mathematics using Python” organized by the Department of Mathematics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore during 9 – 14 August 2020.
- Five-day FDP on “Mathematics for Data Science” conducted by the Department of Basic Science & Humanities, Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science, Puthencruz, during 10 – 14 August 2020.

Ms Sunitha C (Asso Prof, CSE Dept) and Mr Amal Ganesh (AP, CSE Dept) attended a six-day AICTE sponsored Short Term Training Programme on Data Analytics & Machine Learning organized by Amal Jyothi College of Engineering during 03 – 08 August 2020.

Ms Sunitha C (Asso Prof, CSE Dept) and Mr Amal Ganesh (AP, CSE Dept) successfully completed an eight-week NPTEL course on Google cloud Computing Foundation Course” offered by IIT Kharagpur through Swayam Platform.
Ms Jucy Vareed (AP, CSE Dept) attended a webinar on “Data Science : An introduction, Scope and Opportunities” organised by the Department of Computer Science, KMCT Arts and Science College, Kuttipuram in association with Osprey International Institute on 12th August 2020.
