B Tech (ME) students develop automatic system to pick up book

A group of students of B Tech (ME) 2020 pass out batch developed an automatic system to pick up books from the book racks of a library. The system which avoids hand contact with books while picking up books from racks is helpful in fighting the COVID – 19 pandemic. The system was developed by the team consisting of Manuel Simon, Nitin Sooraj, Mohammad Salsabeel and Suneesh K S as part of their final year project. The project was guided by Anil Paul (AP, ME Dept) and Adarsh M S (AP, ME Dept).
