IEEE Student Branch of Vidya is becoming lively again!
The IEEE Student Branch of Vidya which had been remaining relatively inactive for some time kick started its activities in a resurgent mode in October 2020. IEEE Kerala Section offered helping hands for the smooth revival of activities by joining IEEE Student Branch in Vidya with the IEEE Student Branch in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam. This joint venture was named ZEAL 2.0. They started their joint activities with a Volunteer Call registration which was open up to 27 November 2020 and a meeting of all interested students on 28 November 2020 via Google Meet.
One of the initial steps was to let students know the importance of being a member of IEEE. It was successfully met by arranging an experience sharing session by two great individuals Dr Nitin Padmanabhan and Mr Sooraj Soman both alumni of Vidya on 29 November 2020.
