KTU organises splendiferous event to welcome newly admitted B Tech students
As part of the AICTE mandated Student Induction Programme, among other things, the APJAKTU organised a big online event on 23 November 2021 to mark the inauguration of the academic activities of the newly admitted B Tech students, admitted in 2021, of the University. The event was live streamed via the Facebook page of the University. Dr Rajasree M S, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, APJAKTU delivered the inaugural address.
As part of the programme, the University has arranged several special talks on a variety of topics which are of immense and immediate concern of the newly admitted students. These include addresses by:
- Sri Manoj Abraham IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Kerala State
- Smt R. Sreelekha IPS (Retd. Director General, Fire and Rescue Services, Kerala State) on Safety of Youth
- Dr Arun B. Nair, Psychiatrist (Govt. Medical College, Trivandrum) on Psychosocial Competence
- Dr S Somanath (Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre) on Possibilities of Engineering Domains
- Mr Rajesh Nair (Associate Partner Markets, Ernst & Young LLP) on Reframing the Future
- Smt K K Shailaja Teacher (MLA, Former Minister for Health and Family welfare, Govt of Kerala)
