Green welcome: CE Dept greets freshers with saplings!

The idea of greeting guests or receiving freshers to a College by offering saplings may not be very novel. But it certainly had some novelty, and of course much curiosity, when the CE Dept organised a ceremony on 29 November 2021 to formally receive the freshers of the Dept by offering saplings to each and every fresher. The programme started of with an inaugural speech by Devika M S followed by a talk by Dr Justine Jose C (Prof and Dead, CE Dept). Saplings were handed over to the freshers by Dr Justine, his colleagues in the Dept and members of the Executive Committee of the CE Dept Association.
