Webinar on “How to Merge Computer Science with Entrepreneurship: Building Tech Startups that Thrive”

On February 1, 2022, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in association with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) at VAST organized a webinar focusing on the amalgamation of computer science and entrepreneurship, specifically aimed at guiding students in building successful tech startups. The webinar commenced at 6:00 PM and was led by Ms. Jucy Vareed, Assistant Professor in the CSE department.

The webinar served as a platform for BTech students to explore the fusion of computer science and entrepreneurship. Through discussions on identifying opportunities, overcoming challenges, and learning from success stories, participants gained valuable insights into building tech startups. The interactive nature of the session fostered engagement and encouraged students to pursue entrepreneurial ventures leveraging their computer science skills. Overall, the webinar was informative, inspiring, and instrumental in empowering students to embark on the entrepreneurial journey in the tech sector. Approximately 40 BTech students were participated.
