MCA HoD harps on “Harnessing internet for pedagogical improvement” at KVASU

The context was a three-week Orientation Programme on “Strategic reflections on transformation against a changing academic landscape” organised by the Academic Staff College of Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Mannuthy. The programme, held during 23 February – 15 March 2022, was open for participation for faculty members in colleges all over India.

One of the sessions of the programme on 7 March 2022 was handled by Dr V N Krishnachandran (Prof and Head, MCA Dept). During his session, Dr Krishnachandran talked about the very general theme “Harnessing the internet for pedagogical improvement”. The main focus of the talk was on the various web portals which provide access to scholarly literature on nearly all disciplines. The available literature includes both high quality books and papers in prestigious research journals. He also talked about creating websites using Google Sites and contributing to Wikipedia.
