A project proposal titled “Krishi Vikas” prepared a team of B Tech (EEE) students consisting of Jincy Jose, Ushas P A, Kevin George and Swathi K Sunil under the Guidance of Mr Anil M (AP, ECE Dept) and submitted for the Ignite Innovation Challenge 2022 has been shortlisted for final evaluation. As many as 23 projects have been shortlisted for the final round. The final evaluation is expected to begin on 1 May 2022 and the results are expected in mid-may 2022. The themes for IGNITE 2022 makes it very unique with special focus on Rural innovations, Accessibility and Social Entreprises.

The challenge is organised by Darsana, the alumni association of NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad in partnership with KTU (university partner), Kerala Development and Innovation and Strategic Council (K-DISC), Kerala StartUp Mission and Digital University of Kerala (knowledge partner). Dr Sudha Balagopalan, Dean-Academics, has been selected as a member of the panel of judges of the Challenge.
