Vidya hosts NSS Training Programme for HSS students from Thrissur district

Vidya always encourages the  special talents of the youth as it gives  unique opportunities to the younger minds for mutual knowledge sharing and obtain interaction with the living society .

The members of staff  in  Vidya have contributed commendably well in designing several volunteering programmes  to enable the younger generation get involved in the society.

A training program christened “Arangu” under the auspices of  Higher Secondary National Service Scheme  for the NSS volunteers of  Higher Secondary School (HSS) students in  Thrissur district was conducted during 11 – 13 November 2022. Dr Jacob John  (NSS  State Co-ordinator ) inaugurated the programme. Dr N Rajesh (NSS  RPC Central Region) felicitated the session. Mr Anil M (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) spoke on the occasion.

To develop the acting skills and to become confident, a theatre workshop was conducted to the NSS volunteers of HSS. The session was led  by Mr Reghunathan (Co-founder and Director, Padavu Creative Theatre) and  Ms Anagha Reghunath (Teacher and Guide, Padavu Creative Theatre) .

The student showcased  their skills and abilities by acting, playing musical instruments, singing, dancing etc. The students who spoke on the occasion, reminisced the various platforms to explore their hidden talents that   helped them to identify towards exploring their academic benefits and activities.

Mr Anil M (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) co-ordinated the entire training programme.
