VSEC Student Volunteers extend support for conducting a session to School Students
Vidya Social Empowerment Center (VSEC) aims to create potential youngsters who will be the change in tomorrow’s society.
As a part of the VSEC’s initiative to empower school students to become better citizens, a session on “Non-verbal Communication” was held on 12 November 2022 at Thirumangalam UP School, Engandiyur. The resource person was Ms. Divya Radhakrishnan, Associate Finance and Administration, VICT. The Student Volunteers Sinan Sulaiman (S3 ME Dept) and Midhun Joshy (S3 EEE Dept) also helped in the smooth conduct of the session along with conducting 2 activities to keep the students engaged.
The session was informative as well as highly interactive one that influenced many students to rethink and introspect into their lives in order to improve their soft skills and confidence.
A total of 28 students of eighth standard participated in the session. They were also a part of “Nanma”, an NGO based in Endandiyur. VICT Trustees, Mr C K Jayarajan and Mr. K P R Vijayan, Author Trustees of VICT were also present at the programme.
