NSS Volunteers participate proclamation rally to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities

To create awareness among the general public about the special persons, express solidarity with them and highlight their problems, Vidya NSS Volunteers participated in the proclamation rally on 03 December 2022 conducted in association with St Anne’s CGHS, Thrissur in connection with International Day of Persons with Disabilities . The Day is observed on 03 December 2022 to raise an awareness about understanding and accepting people with who are differently able.

The program started with a welcome speech delivered by Sr. Cibia Terresa (Head Mistress, St.Annes’s CGHS). The chief guest for the event was Sri. Harshad T P (Inspector of Police, Thrissur West Police Station). The journey started from St Anne’s C G H S and ended at West Fort. Vidya NSS Volunteers participated in the rally and  also  organised a flash mob at West Fort Junction. At the end of the program vote of thanks was given by Sri. Jaison C P (BPC, URC Thrissur). As many as  30 NSS Volunteers took part in this program. Mr Shine P Xavier (Programme Officer and Asst Prof, CSE Dept) led Vidya NSS team.
