Vidya faculty member delivers an invited talk in the International Online Conference
Vidya faculty members take part in the continued development of the education and in the field of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development by equipping themselves with the academic skills and invited talks
Dr Sobha A P (Asso Prof, AS Dept) delivered an invited talk in the International Online Conference on Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (ICBSSD-2022) conducted at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally, Kerala during 16-17 December 2022.
The conference was conducted in connection with the UN year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development and the topic was “Water Conservation – Retention of Rain Water in Kerala”. Dr Sobha A P made a presentation about the importance of traditional methods of rain water conservation. The watershed management activities undertaken by the Panchayats and other agencies were also highlighted.
