‘ADVIKA 2023’ concludes on a vibrant, festive note with a strong legacy

Aiming to highlight the artistic talent of the students who provide the divine experience of aesthetics to the engineering minds in recognizing and celebrating humanity, the Arts Festival ‘Advika 2023’ was  held  in  Vidya  during  24-25  March 2023. About 60 competitions were staged in two days at various venues.

Audience were immersed in the cultural venues, and their cultural ambience, when they are enjoying the performances on the first day in twenty-eight items including Thiruvathira, Arabana, Kolkali, Margamkali, Mime, Poorakkali, Parichamut, Chenda Melam, Thayambaka, Drama, Panchavadyam, Mappilapat, Mimicry, Monoact, Kadhaprasangam, Patriotic song, Lalithagaanam and Folk Dance.

The scale of the festival, with much zeal and fervor  among the crowds that thronged the campus on the second day with the performance of  Vatta Patt, Opana, Daffmut, Sangaganam, Kathakali Music, Padya Parayanam, Western Music, Nadan Pattu, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam etc.

Advika 2023 also put to test the intellectual, oratory, artistic and creative skills of the aspiring students through  offstage events that include Essay Writing, Story Writing, Aksharaslokam, Pookkalam, Rangoli, Clay Modeling, Versification, Extempore, Debate etc with the right mixture of inter department competitions.Advika 2023 was concluded with a Ganamela competition held at Pranavam Auditorium.

Advika 2023 was coordinated by Ms Ida David (Asst Prof, AS Dept ), Ms Anooja V S (Asst Prof, EEE Dept)  with ardent support from Ardrith S Pramod (Advika Student Convener, MCA  Dept) and student volunteers who showcased managerial ability, team work and dedication  that capped off the arts festival a resounding success.
