Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean-Academics) to Lead Vocational Awareness, ISV South Asia WG

Vidya staff members provides essential supports to the needy children to develop and considerate into professional career and good citizenship, to live life happily and as fruitful citizen of the society. These kinds of initiatives help the children to get ample information of various newly emerging courses and their prospects.

Vidya has been selected as Nodal Centre for IEEE Smart Village (ISV) and Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean Academics & Professor in EEE Dept) is co-ordinating the activities in the college with the wholehearted support from Vidya staff members .

It is with great sense of pride and privilege, we share the news that,Dr Sudha Balagopalan is honored with the role as Lead – Vocational Awareness, ISV South Asia WG. All these accolades are considered as a token of recognition to Dr Sudha for her stupendous efforts towards leading all kinds of ISV initiatives.

To empower school students from the weaker section of the society, a wide range of vocational awareness programs being conducted at SoS Village by the Vidya staff members and students under the leadership of Dr Sudha.The entire process is expected to extend to VSEC schools as well. Now the operations are being extended to 15 schools in Tamilnadu. They are starting with the training program of the mentors in Thirunelveli district with the help of 6 student volunteers from the Nodal Centre, Vidya
