A new Anti-Drug campaign ‘Rasagula’ sparks a wild idea  in association with PTA

The ‘Rasagula – enthu rasamaanu ee jeevitham Anti-Drug campaign has given fresh impetus to the concept of drug free Campus’ for students. The awareness classes led by eight eminent personalities from India and abroad who are experts in various cultural and intellectual fields of the society gave the students the opportunity to demonstrate their determination not only to fight the menace of drugs but also to fight and win the upper hand.

In view of the fact that family background is also a crucial factor in youth becoming victims of drugs and other intoxicants, the campaign christened ‘Rasagula  was jointly organized by Vidya ISTE Chapter and Parents Teacher Association on 10 June 2023.The content of the programme was meticulously developed and evaluated by Self Improvement Hub Team.

Mr Manoj Chalakal (PTA President) inaugurated program. Dr Saji C B (Principal) presided over the function.Ms Ponsy Paul (Faculty Advisor, Vidya ISTE Chapter and Asst Prof, CE Dept) delivered welcome address. Farseena P A (S2, CE Dept) and  Sreya Sunilkumar (S2, CE Dept) did compering.

Mr Anto Michael (Deputy Secretary-Government of Kerala and Director – Self Improvement Hub),Dr Adv Renju Joseph (Director – RJs International Educational Consultancy) Ms Ajitha Unni (Director – Insight : A Centre for Counselling Edappal), Ms Habby Sudhan (Director – Tranquil Therapies, Oman), Mr Mujeeb Rahiman P M (Counsellor, Trainer, Coordinator – CIGI, Talent Nurturing Centre, JCI Zone Trainer – Prov), Dr Ali Mundeth (Head – Life Signals India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore, Psychologist, Hypnotherapist, Trainer),Ms Praveena E P (Counselling Psychologist, Trainer) and Ms Pradeepa Sudheer (Trainer, Counsellor, Motivational Speaker) shared  their insights. The campaign was thrived with the enlightening sessions of these experts from different walks of life.

 The event was co-ordinated by Mr Anil Melepurath (Student Chapter Advisor, Vidya ISTE Chapter and Asst Prof,  ECE Dept) and Ms Ponsy Paul (Faculty Advisor, Vidya ISTE Chapter and Asst Prof, CE Dept).Due to the social relevance, the event was well covered by print and electronic media.
