Vidya Skill Centre Training offers LED bulb workshop for the parents of differently abled students

Vidya is committed in serving the society. More than 30 children with autism affected of Thalir Buds Rehabilitation Center, enthusiastically participated in the LED bulb training workshop organized jointly by Velur Gram Panchayat and Skill Center of Vidya .

To develop the vocational skills of differently-abled students with the help of their parents and bring them to the mainstream of the society through their own income, the LED bulb training workshop jointly organized by Velur Gram Panchayat and Skill Center of Vidya was held on 02 August 2023. Mr T R Shobi (Velur Gram Panchayat President) inaugurated the session.The program was presided over by Mr Joy C F (Chairman, Standing Committee on Welfare). Ms Vidya Unnikrishnan (CDS Chairperson), Anju K Jayan (BRC Teacher) spoke on the occasion. Ms Sudha (PTA President of the school ) proposed vote of thanks.

Ms Sheji Prakash (Trade Instructor, ECE Dept) and Mr Arun P R (Trade Instructor, EEE Dept) led the workshop. The session was co-ordinated by Mr Anil Melepurath (Head,Vidya Skill Center and Asst Prof, ECE Dept).
