‘Souhrida Club’ residential program started at Vidya with immense vigour

With an aim to enable self-development and empowerment of adolescents, spread awareness among them about health, hygiene, nutrition, adolescent, health, family and child care, upgrade their skills and life skills, a three day residential program started at Vidya under the auspices of ‘Souhrida Club’.

‘Souhrida Club’ is a new and innovative program conceived by the Department of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala with the objective of improving physical, academic, social and personal skills of teenagers and leading them to a successful life. Mr Rahim Veetiparampil (Thrissur district Panchayat Health and Education Standing Committee Chairman) performed the inauguration on 21 November 2023.Mr A V Vallabhan (Thrissur District Panchayat Member) presided over the function.Mr T R Shobi (Velur Gram Panchayat President), Mr V A Karim (Higher Secondary District Co-ordinator), Mr Prakash Babu (District Co-ordinator), Ms Priya G (Convener), Dr Saji C B (Principal), Mr Anil Melepurath (IEDC Nodal Officer, (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) participated in the function. Ms Sudha M (Convenor) proposed vote of thanks.

Over 120 higher secondary school students from Thrissur district will showcase their talents in cultural programs and performances during the three-day workshop.
