CE Dept conducts Dept Alumni Interaction Series ‘Let’s Connect’

Vidya is happy that, every Vidyite considers in motivating brainpower, enhancing their scholastic capability and offering guidelines and inspiration for a better prospects.

An alumni session was conducted on 13 November 2023 featuring former student Mr Abhijith P Anil (2012-16 batch, CE Dept). He is currently working as an assistant manager in the Power Business Unit of TATA Consulting Engineers, Bangalore.He was given a warm welcome by Dr Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept)

He took the platform to share his experience after graduating from Vidya.Mr Abhijith took his M.TECH in Structural Engineering from Vidya itself.He emphasized the importance of creating a LinkedIn profile and suggested to spend more time and effort in Linked-In to get an idea about the various job opportunities prevailing.Later he talked about how having a powerful CV is beneficial in job interviews and also suggested a website called “Intelligence CV” to help us create one. At last, he talked about the job opportunities available in the government sector and suggested to start preparing for the same during B Tech course.

The event was organized by the Civil Department Association of Vidya Ms Vandana V (Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Ms Chithra M (Asst Prof, CE Dept) led the program as co-ordinators.Poojalakshmi (S7,CE Dept) and Swetha Santhosh (S7 CE Dept) concluded the session by offering feedback and expressing gratitude for their invaluable insights.
