AIML Dept conducts value added course on ‘Programming Fundamentals Plus: Building Strong Foundations’

With an aim to fortify student’s understanding of programming essentials, the Dept of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organized an enriching certificate comprehensive course, titled “Programming Fundamentals Plus: Building Strong Foundations,” tailored specifically for the first-year students of the department. Leading this instructive endeavor was Mr Satheesh C (Department of Computer Engineering, Govt. polytechnic college, Palakkad)  who guided the participants through both theoretical discussions and engaging hands-on sessions.

The course spanned over two enlightening sessions, which were held during   24-25 January 2024. Throughout these sessions, the participants get into the fundamental principles of C programming, progressively advancing towards more concepts such as data types, control statements, arrays and string manipulation. These sessions acted as a good platform, equipping the students with a well-rounded comprehension of programming practicing.

The impact of these sessions was profound, resonating with all the students who attended. Students unanimously voiced their appreciation for the effectiveness of the sessions, testifying to the heightened clarity they gained on programming fundamentals and its practical applications. The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, through this remarkable initiative, not only focused the students programming insights but also fostered a deeper appreciation for the intricate world of coding.
