Inaugural ceremony of Vidya Student Senate 2023 – 24 with much pomp and gaiety
The Student Senate presents an opportunity to develop leadership and senators act as the primary communication link between the institution administration and the student group.
| To spot the significance of the existence of the Student Senate and their responsibilities, the Student Senate (2023 – 24) activities were inaugurated in a grand function christened “PRAVEGA” held on 27 March 2024 in Pranavam College Auditorium. A graceful and ebullient ‘Rangapooja’performance was put up by the students. Rohith Sankar E S (Chairperson, S8, ME Dept) welcomed the gathering The activities of the Student Senate 2023 – 24 were officially inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp by Dr Saji C B (Principal) along with the dignitaries on the dais. Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean Academics), Dr Sunitha C (Vice Principal, HoD, AIML Dept), Heads of various Departments, Senate faculty Conveners Ms Anooja V S (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) and Mr Sangeeth K K (Asst Prof, ME Dept),the newly elected Chairperson Rohith Sankar E S and other office bearers of the Senate graced the occasion by their presence on the dais. Sneha M S ( Vice-Chairperson, S8, CE Dept) proposed vote of thanks to all gathered for the programme. |
