CSE Dept conducts ‘DEVBYTES by Google Developer Students Club’ for B.Tech CSE students

The Dept of CSE provides different platforms to students for illustrating skills required in the IT field and to unveil the strategies for navigating the success in technology. The Dept conducted online session on ‘DEVBYTES’ by Google Developer Students Club (GDSC) on 25 May 2024, focusing the benefits of upcoming first year students. The session was handled by Vidya alumni Ms Gayathri Satheeshkumar (Associate Engineer Litmus7, 2019-23 Batch, CSE Dept) and Sujishna V P (S8, CSE Dept) .The welcome address was given by Dr Ramani Bai V (HoD, CSE Dept).

The resource persons handled the session and shared knowledge on GDSC Club. There was an explanation on the concept of clubs and the significance of clubs in shaping students’ personality. Ms Gayathri then delved into the specifics of the GDSC Club, highlighting its previous activities and the impact they had on the students involved. She had shared her experience attending the GDSC Summit in Bangalore, where she had the chance to interact with leaders from Google and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the tech industry. She also emphasized the importance of transitioning from school to college, discussing the mental and knowledge shifts that students should expect and prepare for. Also shared information on various career opportunities in CSE.

The session was very interactive, Through this session, the students got extra knowledge about some of new terms that help for future activities. The session to be intriguing and very helpful. The session concluded by with valuable feedbacks from various students.
