School students attended Vidya Science Talent Test 2024 with great keenness

To identify and support talented students by offering scholarships to deserving candidates,Vidya Science Talent Test was  conducted by VSEC (Vidya Social Empowerment Center) on 30 August 2024.The test targeted students currently studying in the 8th standard across various schools in Thrissur district.

A total of 93 students registered for the test, of which 60 students appeared on the scheduled date.The results of the test were promptly announced on 01 September 2024. From the pool of candidates,31 students were shortlisted for the second round based on their performance in the test.

The selected students will now compete in the second round, where winners will be awarded a 5-year scholarship from the 8th standard through to the completion of their Plus Two education. This initiative by the Vidya Social Empowerment Center is a significant step towards nurturing young talent and providing them with the resources necessary to excel in their academic endeavors.

Ms Salkala K S (Asst Prof, MCA Dept)  and  Dr Vineetha C P (Asso Prof, AS Dept)  co-ordinated the test with  ardent support of energetic VSEC team members .
