Vidya pays tribute to Er.K.R. Brahmadathan (Founder Executive Director, VICT)

Vidya is fortunate enough with folk of true visionary leaders since inception in 2003.

Er K R Brahmadathan (Founder Executive Director,VICT) a true far-sighted and pioneer was at the forefront of the establishment of Vidya Academy of Science & Technology left us on 17 September 2010.

Vidya paid affluent tribute to Er K R Brahmadathan  on his 14th  death anniversary on 28 September 2024. Floral tributes were presented before the picture of  Er K R Brahmadathan by Mr Suresh Lal (Executive Director, VICT),Dr Sunitha C (Principal), Vidya Staff Members and students.

Dr Rakesh Hari (HoD, ME Dept)  made opening remarks and mentioned the immeasurable contributions of Er.K.R. Brahmadathan and the significance of this commemoration.

Dr Sunitha C (Principal)  recollected his exemplary personality and dynamism that  ensured all the  people with support desires could live full, energetic and happy lives and his, passion towards sports and Yoga . Mr Suresh Lal shared the challenges faced in the early stage  and how Er.K.R. Brahmadathan transformed Vidya from its humble beginning into a reputed institution.  

Dr Jeeva K A (Professor & HoD, AIML Dept) and Dr Abhilasha P S (HoD, CE Dept) also recollected fond  memories  that left an indelible print on everyone’s’ heart associated with him.  The event was co-ordinated by ME Dept and Dr Sooraj K Prabha (Professor, ME Dept) served as the co-ordinator.

The event served as an ideal tribute  to  Brahmadathan  sir whose  exemplary qualities and dynamism continues to be a guiding light  and blessings in moving forward the vision and mission of  Vidya.
