Principal and students present paper at the National Conference on Recent Advancements in Engineering and Technology (RAET’25)

Vidya faculty members and students explored a variety of practical applications of the model, underscoring its potential across various fields. The model enables real-time detection and correction of dance poses using cutting-edge technologies.

It is with great pride and honor that  the CSE Dept announces the successful presentation of a research paper titled “Dance Pose Detection and Correction Using Human Pose Analysis, Computer Vision and MediaPipe: A Review”by Lakshmi C V(S8,CSE Dept), Shreya Dilip (S8,CSE Dept),Sradha Siju (S8,CSE Dept) and Susan P Babu (S8,CSE Dept) under the guidance of Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) in the National Conference on Recent Advancements in Engineering and Technology (RAET’25) during 21–22 March  2025. The conference was organized by St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Kannur.

A key highlight of this year’s conference was a special session dedicated to the theme of Dance Pose Detection and Correction, which featured in-depth discussions on the working of the proposed model. The model enables real-time detection and correction of dance poses using cutting-edge technologies such as computer vision and MediaPipe. The session also explored a variety of practical applications of the model, underscoring its potential in fields such as dance training, performance evaluation, and physical therapy.

The Editorial Team of News & Events joins the entire Vidya fraternity in extending hearty congratulations to Dr. Sunitha,Lakshmi,Shreya, Sradha and Susan  on the successful presentation that provides a dynamic platform to share their latest findings, innovative ideas, and practical insights into the real-time detection using cutting-edge technologies in the field of engineering and technology !!!
